Do I have to upload all the required documents during registration?

Only passport size photo should be uploaded during registration. The size of the image should be less than 200 MB. 

In the course of filling the application form, can one make changes to the application form?

Yes. One does have the option of saving the application form and completing the application process later or making changes to the information entered. To use this option, you need to click on the Save button. However, once you submit your application, you will not be allowed to review your application.

Can the form be downloaded and sent by post?

The application form can only be submitted online.

What are the documents required to be attached for Excellence award and Merit certificates?

The documents to be attached for Excellence award and Merit certificates include the following: All mark sheets and certificates in support of your educational qualifications, MHT-CET/AIEEE/IIT-JEE Score cards, award letters of scholarships, awards/ prizes received, certificate of participation at seminars / workshops /conferences, Bonafide certificate from college, copy of college identity card

Is there any specified size for the photograph that needs to be uploaded?

The photograph should be a passport size photograph of size less than 200 KB. Please ensure that the extension of the photo or snap should be in small letters i.e. *.jpg, *.gif, *.bmp, *.png

Will it be possible to get a copy of the application form?

Yes. Once you submit the application form, you will receive an E-mail confirmation with the copy of the form.

Which are the colleges that are part of this scholarship programme?

13 colleges in Mumbai are part of this scholarship programme. Is there any particular format in which these documents need to be uploaded?

All the supporting documents need to be only in a pdf format. Photographed copies of the documents will not be accepted. It is mandatory to scan all documents and save them into a pdf format, before they are uploaded.

How does one send the supporting documents?

All the required supporting documents need to be uploaded while filling the application form.

In case one doesn’t receive the E-mail with the Log in details, how does one complete the application form?

• In case you don’t receive the E-mail with your log in details and temporary password, you can mail the Foundation at enggscholarships@nsfoundation.co.in . However, before that the following steps need to be followed:

- Check if you have received the mail in your Spam Folder

- If yes, mark it as ‘Not Spam’ so as to receive future E-mails/ communication from the Foundation in your Inbox.

Is it mandatory to register in order to fill in the application form?

It is mandatory to register in order to fill in the application form.

Where can one obtain the application form?

The application for the Engineering Scholarships is an online application for which the form is available on http://engg.nsfoundation.co.in only. Students are required to fill the form online and submit it along with all the required supporting documents.

Are students with ATKT (Allowed to keep Terms) eligible to apply for the scholarship?

Students having ATKT for the current year or who have had ATKT in the past are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

What is the format in which the documents need to be uploaded?

All the documents need to be uploaded only in PDF format.

What is the eligibility criteria for the Excellence and Merit Scholarships?

You should be a Fourth Year engineering student studying in one of the 13 colleges that are part of the scholarship programme. You should have 75% and above in all the semesters.
